If you are, then do you really know what to look for?
Obviously the design of the Bouncy Castle is very important to you and your guests, but what else should you be looking for? At Taylors we DO NOT have themed bouncy castle such as Frozen, Peppa Pig etc due to Copyright laws as the permission to use such theme is unobtainable and we value our business enough to stay the right side of the law.
Did you know all inflatables need to be tested annually to make sure they comply to the European standard? Inflatables need to be tested annually by a competent person. RPII inspectors can then issue PIPA tags and Certificates if required or their own certificates, either way the compliance test is the same test to EN14960:2013.
Every Bouncy Castle operator is expected to have these tests done annually on all inflatable equipment and SHOULD have the certificates to show you when you ask for them.
You should also be checking the Bouncy Castle provider has sufficient insurance, Here at Taylors Castles we have public liability insurance of up to 5million pounds.
All electrical items, such as extension leads, blowers, etc, should also have a current PAT test in place again in accordance with HSE regulations.
It's your right to ask and our duty to comply.
When booking an inflatable it's your right to ask for all of the items mentioned above, So ASK! Any professional Bouncy Castle hirer should have no issues with providing you with the certificates and paperwork mentioned should you require it.
